Tootsie is an estimated 8-year-old, 60 lb pittie mix with a heart of gold and a gentle spirit. She has a way of looking at you that just melts your heart. Tootsie doesn't demand attention, but her calm and affectionate presence makes you want to seek her out. She's a quiet, steady companion who will become your favorite part of the day.
Ideal Home
Tootsie would love a home with a yard for exploring and sunbathing. She enjoys a slower pace of life, so long, fast hikes aren't her thing, but short walks are perfect. She's happy to stop and sniff everything along the way. While she coexists beautifully with other dogs and would appreciate a calm, respectful canine friend, she doesn't need one to feel complete. People are her favorite!
Ongoing Health
Tootsie is a healthy girl who has received all her vetting.
Training & Support
Tootsie is wonderfully mannered, fully potty trained, crate trained, and respectful of her surroundings. She knows commands like sit, down, paw, and wait, and takes treats gently. She settles beautifully, sleeps through the night, and can be left alone for a few hours without issue. Her foster parents describe her as a perfect house guest. Her one passion project is lizards, which brings her joy but may not be a joy for your flower beds.
