River

River arrived at NCCR on 7/5/26, after being rescued from an overcrowded facility that ran out of space. This approximately 1-year-old, spayed female mixed breed's heritage is anyone's guess – is she a Bearded Collie mix? A Shih Tzu/Retriever? A Mop-a-Doodle-Doo? Whatever she may be, she sure is cute! River reportedly gets along well with most other dogs and loves people, too. She weighs just 30 lbs., a perfectly portable size to join you in any adventure, large or small! With a coat like hers, she will need regular brushing and some additional grooming periodically. River has a winning smile and a sweet nature, and is sure to be a gem for her lucky new family!
