Meet Oreo! She's a young, scruffy puppy, estimated to be around 3 months old and weighing about 10 pounds. We think she might be a Schnauzer Poodle mix, but her exact breed is a mystery, as is often the case with rescue pups. What we do know is that Oreo is 100% deserving of a loving home.
Oreo is the perfect combination of playful energy and snuggle bug! Her favorite pastime is a rousing game of fetch, and she has a special fondness for squeaky toys. She can entertain herself for hours, chasing, squeaking, and playing before settling down for a well-deserved nap. When playtime winds down, Oreo's sweet nature truly shines. She's recently discovered the joy of cuddle naps and loves to curl up with her foster for some extra affection.
Oreo is also making fantastic progress with her crate training. She sleeps soundly in her crate next to her foster's bed at night. If she wakes up, she'll quietly play with her toys and self-soothe back to sleep like a pro. One of Oreo's most amusing quirks is her love for carrot pieces! Before she eats one, she'll toss it in the air, chase it, and engage in a personal game of fetch – it's guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Ongoing Health
Oreo has no known ongoing health conditions mentioned. She has received age-appropriate vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. She will be spayed and receive a 12-month heartworm preventative injection.
Training & Support
Oreo is doing wonderfully with crate training and sleeps through the night in her crate. She's also learning to self-soothe if she wakes up. Her foster parents provide ongoing training and socialization opportunities.
