Winy

Winy is a delightful 1-year-old male Labrador Creole mix, weighing approximately 30 lbs. He's a bundle of joy, intelligence, and playfulness, always eager to please. Winy was rescued in March 2024 after being found with his siblings in a field. Despite being a little shy when first meeting new people, he quickly warms up and melts into your arms with affection. He's a social butterfly with humans of all ages and other dogs, and he even gets along with cats. Winy loves to play, go for walks, run, and shower his favorite people with love. He's a very affectionate, docile, loyal, and joyful companion. He is crate and leash trained.

Ideal Home

Winy would thrive in a home with owners who have a fenced backyard and are active, enjoying outdoor activities. Families with an open mind about the needs of rescued animals and experience in dog behavior and training would be a great fit. He requires patience and tolerance, as he is not house-trained.

Ongoing Health

Winy has completed a comprehensive health protocol including: spay/neuter certificate, DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines, deworming, microchipping, a 4DX test, a negative heartworm test, monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive, and a health certificate with a vaccine booklet.

Training & Support

Winy is not house-trained and will require ongoing training and patience in this area. He is, however, crate and leash trained.

• A virtual meet and greet with Winy and his foster will be arranged.
• A trial adoption period with ongoing communication is part of the process.

Transportation

Winy is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transportation to the adopter's home address is available for an additional fee.
