Grace Hargraves

Grace is a beautiful, sturdy, and incredibly smart 3-year-old girl. Her perky ears are like little bat wings, and she loves a good scratch! She has a lot of energy but naps most of the day during work hours. Grace was an excellent mom to her 10 puppies and is now ready to find her forever home! She can sit, lie down, and is completely potty and crate trained. She loves her kennel and often takes naps in it voluntarily because it makes her feel safe, and she happily sleeps there every night. She is working on rolling over, shaking hands, "down," and becoming more zen about seeing squirrels on walks. Grace is very strong, so please keep that in mind. No AirPods for the first few walks, as she will require all of your attention!

Ideal Home

Grace lives with her foster parents and has no experience with other children, adults, or pets. She notices changes in her environment and can have a difficult time when initially meeting men, but she has proven that she can get past this after an initial introduction. The perfect family for Grace is one that can see her for her worth and understand that to meet her is to love her!

Ongoing Health

Grace is healthy and has no ongoing health conditions to report.

Training & Support

Grace is working on "rolling over," "shaking hands," and "down." She is also learning to be more calm when seeing squirrels on walks. As she is strong, she will need an adopter who can give her their full attention on walks. She was raised in a difficult environment and shows some signs of trauma, which she is working through with the help of her fosters and Save-A-Bull.
