Ranger

Ranger is a handsome and smart young dog who is looking for his second chance at a loving forever family. He was recently adopted but unfortunately, his previous home had chickens, and Ranger has a strong prey drive towards them. He also has a history of jumping a 6' fence to get to them. Despite this, Ranger is a great dog who is house-trained and gets along well with cats, other dogs, and children. He truly deserves to find a family that can give him the stability and love he craves.

Ideal Home

Ranger would do best in a home without chickens. Given his history of fence-jumping, a secure yard or regular leash walks would be essential. He is already comfortable with other dogs, cats, and children.

Ongoing Health

Ranger's adoption fee of $200 covers his spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm test, microchip, registration, and a collar.

Training & Support

Ranger is house-trained and good with other animals and children. His primary behavioral concern is his prey drive towards chickens. Potential adopters will need to manage his environment to prevent any encounters with fowl.
