Winnie (Formerly Winifred)

Winnie is a truly resilient and loving girl who has overcome a lot to find her happy ending. She was found in a rough situation, underweight and scavenging for food, but thankfully, she was rescued and brought to safety. Despite a challenging start that included a URI and a mass on her side, Winnie is now fully recovered, spayed, and has had her cyst removed. She's gained weight, her spark has returned, and she's healthier and happier than ever, ready to share her love with a devoted family. Winnie is a smart, low-energy companion who adores being close to her people and enjoys going on adventures.

Ideal Home

Winnie would thrive in a home where she can be close to her family. She does well with children and loves to join in on adventures. She is not a good fit for homes with cats and is selective with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Winnie has fully recovered from her URI and had a cyst removed. She is now healthy and happy.

Training & Support

Winnie is described as smart and low-energy. She enjoys being with her people and going on adventures. As she is dog-selective, continued positive reinforcement and careful introductions to new canine friends will be key to her success.
