Spike JuM

Spike is a goofy, smart, playful, and happy guy who is so grateful to be alive! He was rescued from a high-kill shelter in West Texas and has been receiving much-needed heartworm treatment and enjoying life with friends. Now, his biggest goal is to find his forever family! He gets along with other dogs but is a dominant boy, so he would do best as an only dog or with a submissive canine companion. As a Husky, Spike is active and needs a family knowledgeable about the breed, as they are known escape artists and shed quite a bit. He'd love to escape the Texas heat and would be most comfortable in a cooler climate. Spike is ready to find his forever home!

Ideal Home

A home with a family that understands the Husky breed and their unique needs. Spike would do best as an only dog or with a submissive friend. He would love to live in a cooler climate.

Spike has completed his heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Spike is not house-trained. As a Husky, he is an escape artist and sheds a lot, so his new family should be prepared for these breed-specific traits.
