Slate

Meet Slate, a happy and affectionate 11-month-old Cattle Dog mix who weighs 42 pounds. He loves people, enjoys outdoor time, and is eager to be included in family life. After being returned because his energy level and breed were not the right fit for his previous family, Slate was welcomed back by his original foster family while he searches for his forever home.

Ideal Home

Slate would thrive with an active family who enjoys walks, hikes, playtime, and other adventures. He has lived with young children and loves people. He is adjusting to sharing his foster home with a laid-back dog, so a playful canine companion—or a family committed to helping him learn appropriate play—would be a great fit.
