JOEY

Joey is a super cute, approximately 2-year-old pup with golden tan fur and beautiful green eyes. He's a sweet, energetic, and playful boy who loves being with people, snuggling up, and going on walks. Joey enjoys some spirited play with his foster dog sister, who is larger than him.

Ideal Home

Joey will do best in a home without small pets. He would also enjoy another dog his size or larger to play with, but he'd also be perfectly happy as an only dog, showering his favorite person with all his attention!

Ongoing Health

Joey is currently heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment. He is still adoptable while in treatment.

Training & Support

Joey walks well on a leash and knows his basic commands: SIT, STAY, and DOWN. He will sit and wait patiently for his food until given the okay. He is crate trained for workdays and nights. When inside, Joey has not shown any destructive tendencies around furniture.
