Wave 🌊

Wave is a sweet, sensitive 3-4 year old standard Aussie who was rescued from a rural shelter. He was found as a stray with his sister and bravely underwent heartworm treatment. Due to past experiences, Wave is learning that human hands offer safety and unconditional love. He's making wonderful progress and is a truly precious boy! Wave enjoys belly rubs, cuddles, long walks, and simply being by your side. He's a well-mannered companion who walks excellently on a leash, is crate and house-trained, and even knows how to "wave" for attention!

Ideal Home

Wave is dog-friendly and would do best in a home with children 12 and older. He is still overcoming fears related to loud noises and sudden movements, so a quieter environment would be ideal for him to continue building his confidence.

Ongoing Health

Wave has successfully completed his heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Wave is house-trained and crate-trained. He knows the command "sit" and walks well on a leash. Continued patience and positive reinforcement will help him continue to build trust and overcome his sensitivities.
