Mojo

Mojo is an 8½ year old male German Shepherd with a comeback story that is truly impressive! He and his mom were found abandoned, living in squalor and surviving on whatever they could find. Mojo arrived in 2024 in poor physical condition, struggling with severe genetic hip issues that made walking painful and movement limited. He has since undergone successful bilateral hip surgeries, and the results have been nothing short of remarkable! Mojo is now living his best life, running with enthusiasm and clearly eager to make up for lost time. He is wonderful with people, affectionate, gentle, and a complete love sponge once he bonds with you. Mojo is also good with other dogs, with the important caveat that his canine companions need to be respectful of his past surgeries. Polite dog friends only, please. He also does best with children over 10 who understand that dogs are not ponies. Cats and small animals are a firm no for Mojo. He is well-mannered, housebroken, and very easy to live with, knowing how to settle, relax, and enjoy being part of a household.

Ideal Home

Mojo needs a securely fenced yard and a home where significant stair walking won't be required. Fewer stairs would be ideal, though he gets around well. He does best with polite canine companions and children over 10. Cats and small animals are not a good fit.

Ongoing Health

Mojo has had bilateral hip surgeries to address severe genetic hip issues.

Training & Support

Mojo is housebroken and well-mannered. He knows how to settle and relax in the home.
