Mia (26-243)

Mia (26-243) is a sweet, affectionate dog who enjoys being around people and soaking up attention. She has a gentle, easygoing personality that makes her a pleasure to handle, and she's adjusted to her new environment with resilience and trust. Mia came to us through heartbreaking circumstances after her owner became homeless and was no longer able to care for her. It was a difficult decision made out of love, with the hope that Mia would find the stable, caring home she deserves. While Mia does share a bond with Ace and they clearly enjoy each other's company, they are not required to be adopted together, though we would be thrilled to see them continue life side by side if the right home comes along for both.

Ongoing Health

Mia has tested positive for Anaplasma, a tick-borne disease. This is commonly treated with a 30-day course of doxycycline, and Mia has already started her treatment. With proper care, dogs typically respond very well and continue on to live happy, healthy lives. Mia has also been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on her vaccinations.
