Ivy was born on March 11, 2025. She was a beloved member of her family until they made the heartbreaking decision to rehome her. Ivy then went into a foster home and has been an absolute joy ever since, and now we're searching for the loving forever family she truly deserves.
Ivy is a happy, affectionate, and playful girl with so much love to give. Her absolute favorite thing in the world is playing fetch! If you have a tennis ball, you'll instantly become her best friend! She also loves playing with toys, going on walks, and spending time with her people. She is a smart girl who already knows commands like sit, lay down, come, no, go potty, and go to your kennel. Ivy is potty trained and crate trained and does well with a routine. She gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and absolutely adores children. She truly is an incredible dog with so much love to give. She'll make one very lucky family incredibly happy with her goofy personality, loyal heart, and endless affection. After everything she's been through, Ivy deserves a forever home where she'll be cherished for the rest of her life.

Training & Support
Ivy can be a little shy around men when she first meets them. She simply barks, scoots backward, and needs a little extra time to feel safe. Having been raised in a home with two moms, unfamiliar men are something she has not had much exposure to. With patience, kindness, and a few treats, she quickly warms up and becomes the sweetest, most loving companion. She is very food motivated! She loves watermelon, cucumbers, apples, ice cubes, and just about any treat you have to offer.

Transporation
Ivy is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, but she is available for adoption and transport to many areas across the country. Her $600 adoption fee includes transport. If you're seeing her profile, there's a good chance we have a transport stop near you!
