Ridge

Ridge is a delightful 8-month-old Anatolian Shepherd who blossomed despite a difficult past. He's a sunny, social, and gregarious pup who is genuinely happy and ready to find his forever family. Ridge enjoys the company of people, other dogs, and is even good with cats! While still a puppy, he's a large and opinionated one who is growing into a substantial adult dog. Prospective adopters should be familiar with the Anatolian Shepherd breed and prepared to offer consistent structure.

Ridge has a zest for life and believes that dogs are fun, people are useful, cats are acceptable, and that the Roomba is a suspicious, demonic floor creature!

Ideal Home

Due to his size and puppy exuberance, we recommend a home with children over the age of 10. A fenced yard is a must for Ridge to safely play and explore. He is not suited for apartment living or a lifestyle that only involves casual leash walks. Adopters should be prepared for a very large adult dog.

Ongoing Health

Ridge is a healthy young dog with no current health concerns noted.

Training & Support

Ridge is still learning to fully utilize his brain and body. While he's a social and friendly pup, continued guidance, clear boundaries, and ample space to play will help him grow into the wonderful adult dog he's destined to be. If your household can coexist with (or perhaps even befriend) a Roomba, that's a bonus!
