Kelso

Kelso is an incredibly resilient and loving dog whose journey has been marked by abandonment, but his spirit remains bright. He was adopted as a puppy, and we thought he had found his forever home, only to be heartbreakingly surrendered to a veterinary clinic just before Christmas. Thankfully, we were able to bring him into our care. Despite this difficult past, Kelso is a truly wonderful companion. He has a proven track record of getting along well with children, other dogs, and even chickens! He's house-trained and crate-trained, walks politely on a leash, and has a generally easygoing nature. Kelso greets everyone he meets with enthusiasm and knows his basic commands, making him a joy to be around. He enjoys leisurely walks, lounging both indoors and outdoors, but his favorite activity is simply being with his people. Kelso isn't asking for much – just a loving family who will cherish him and provide the stability he deserves.

Ideal Home

Kelso has lived successfully with a young child and other dogs, so he would likely do well in a home with a similar environment.

Ongoing Health

Kelso is neutered, up to date on all his vaccines, and microchipped. He has also tested heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Kelso is house-trained, kennel-trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. He knows his basic commands and is generally easygoing.
