Roscoe

Roscoe is a sweet, older gentleman looking for a quiet retirement home. He enjoys leisurely walks and is happy to share the couch with his favorite person. He gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids, and is already house-trained and crate-trained. Roscoe's ideal home would be one where he can provide loyal companionship and enjoy a peaceful life. While he came to rescue with his buddy Ryleigh, they don't appear to be bonded and he doesn't have to be adopted with her.

Ideal Home

Roscoe is looking for a quiet home where he can enjoy loyal companionship and share the couch. He's not the best fetch player, but he's a fantastic companion for day trips. He does need some assistance getting into vehicles or other elevated spaces, so a home without many stairs would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Roscoe is a little overweight and would benefit from a weight management diet to reach a healthier weight of 75-80 lbs. He's currently around 94 lbs. He has been tested for Parvo, heartworm, Giardia, and Coccidia. His vaccines are up to date, he's microchipped, and he's on monthly preventatives and deworming. He's also on a joint supplement (Cosequin) to help keep his joints lubricated. His adoption fee has been waived, excluding the rabies vaccination.

Training & Support

Roscoe is house-trained and crate-trained. He does need some help getting into vehicles and other elevated spaces.
