Marky Mark is a big, goofy, and incredibly happy pittie mix who is about 1 year old and weighs 56 lbs. He's a total lover boy who is as playful as he is snuggly, and everyone who meets him instantly falls for his charm. He's the perfect companion for adventures, cuddles, and everything in between!
Ideal Home
Marky Mark would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can explore and play with his favorite toys. He would do best with another dog that enjoys both playtime and quiet time, though he doesn't need another dog to be happy. He should be in a home without cats.
Ongoing Health
Marky Mark is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, and a heartworm test. He has a clean bill of health and is deemed healthy for travel.
Training & Support
Marky Mark is a smart boy who loves treats and is eager to please. He already knows how to sit, responds well to corrections, and is mostly easy to walk on a leash (he pulls a bit out of excitement but a simple correction reminds him to walk like a gentleman). He is crate trained, potty trained, and has great house manners. His eagerness to learn means any additional training will be a breeze!

Marky Mark is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Transport drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. You can track your pet's journey in real time, receive photo updates, and connect with other adopters through a private Facebook event page. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation due to rising costs. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
