Maddox

Maddox is a young, outgoing pup who is eager for a loving home and all the attention you can offer! He's incredibly food-motivated, playful, and has a real knack for learning new things. His absolute favorite activities include playing with his canine pals and a good game of tug-of-war. Maddox craves affection, but he's currently a bit pent-up and needs very slow introductions to new people. His future family can help channel his excitement with plenty of walks and engaging activities to keep his bright mind stimulated.

Ideal Home

Maddox has a lot of pent-up energy from his time at the shelter. It's crucial he finds a home where he can learn good habits before any less desirable ones take root. He's highly trainable, especially with food rewards, but would truly benefit from professional training. His ideal home will have someone who can read his cues and interact with him respectfully. An enthusiastic adopter who is eager to teach an active young dog new skills, like leash walking and calmly asking for affection, would be a perfect match. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs but has not yet been tested with cats.

Maddox is extremely teachable and eager to learn, particularly when food is involved. He would greatly benefit from professional training to help him adjust to a home environment.
