Nala is an 8-year-old, spayed female Shepherd/Retriever mix who weighs around 52 pounds. She's currently in a foster home in Houston, Texas, and is ready to find her forever family! Nala was sadly abandoned when her previous owners moved away, but thankfully, a kind person in the area spotted her and brought her to safety. Despite her past, Nala's tail has never stopped wagging, and she's one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. She has a peaceful presence and a wonderful balance of being relaxed and playful, making her a joy to have around.

Nala would thrive in a home that appreciates her calm and loving nature. She's a great candidate for a family home and has shown patience and kindness with young children, including toddlers. Nala enjoys the company of other dogs, especially larger breeds (50-60 lbs), and has a gentle, submissive play style. She would also be happy as a solo dog, soaking up all the love.
