Meet Layla, a beautiful 5-year-old Shepherd-Pitty mix with a heart full of love! Layla is a bit shy at first, but with a little patience, she blossoms into a devoted and affectionate companion. She absolutely adores other dogs and would thrive with a calm, friendly canine sibling to share her life with. Layla is also cat-tolerant and would do well in a home with older children, around 8 and up, who can appreciate her sensitive nature. She's looking for a safe and peaceful home where she can decompress and let her wonderful personality shine at her own pace. Layla is a gentle soul who will offer quiet love and unwavering canine devotion.

Ideal Home

Layla would do best in a calm home with older children (8+) and a resident dog who can be a gentle, confident companion for her. She needs a home where she can decompress and feel safe.

Ongoing Health

Layla is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. She is given monthly heartworm preventative and flea and tick prevention.

Training & Support

Layla is still building confidence in new situations and may need a little support with leash confidence in unfamiliar places. She benefits from a calm environment and the reassurance of a canine friend.

Transportation

Layla is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. There is an $87 surcharge for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
