Reese is a 1-year-old, 59-pound Alaskan Husky who was found on the streets of Harris County, TX, and taken to a busy shelter. Despite his rough start, Reese is a joyful, gentle, and affectionate boy who knows love and trusts people. He is excellent with both people and other dogs, always eager to connect. Reese walks beautifully on a leash without pulling, is treat-motivated, and already knows how to sit. He has an adorable habit of jumping up for more pets, soaking up all the affection he can. Reese loves being touched from head to toe, enjoys hugs, and thrives on human connection. He would do well in almost any home, though an active home is preferred to meet his breed's exercise needs. With the right outlet for his energy, Reese will shine as a loyal and devoted companion.

Reese is up to date on all vaccines and neutered. He tested positive for heartworm but has started slow-kill treatment and is recovering.

Reese is treat-motivated and eager to learn. He knows how to sit and enjoys positive reinforcement. He does have a habit of jumping up for pets.
