2146 Teddy

Meet Mr. Teddy, a special, quirky, 10-year-old boy who is a delightful blend of Yorkie, Chihuahua, and Papillon, with a dash of personality that’s all his own! This 13-pound bundle of charm came into rescue when his previous owner could no longer care for him. He’s shown he can get along with other dogs, cats, and children, though he does have a few unique traits. Mr. Teddy walks nicely on a leash and is happy with regular walks and supervised potty breaks, making a fenced yard not a necessity.

Ideal Home

Mr. Teddy would love a home where his person is around a lot. He's fine without a fenced yard as long as he is consistently leash-walked. Due to his occasional unpredictable "protect the human" behavior, attentive supervision is needed in homes with children.

Ongoing Health

All vetting is covered by the adoption fee, including neuter surgery, all vaccinations, a heartworm test, deworming, flea prevention, and a microchip.

Training & Support

Mr. Teddy has a "protect the human" game he plays very seriously, which involves dramatic sound effects and toothy theatrics, but no bites. He also requires belly rubs for a happy start to the morning. He may seem a bit grumpy upon waking, but once the belly rubs are done, he’s happy and ready for attention!
