Meet Maya, a charming 12-year-old German Shepherd mix with a heart of gold! Maya is a spirited lady who spent most of her life with garage access, and now she's ready to trade that for a cozy spot in a loving home. She's incredibly food-motivated, which makes her a joy to train! Maya knows "sit," "down," "shake," and "stay." She also loves to stay active and would be thrilled to run next to a bike or join you on walks. Maya can be a little slow to warm up to new people, but once she's comfortable, she's all about loyalty. She has shown to be neutral with respectful young children. While she's not particularly interested in toys, she definitely has a big appreciation for treats!

Ideal Home

Maya would thrive in a home where she can relax and enjoy her golden years. While she has been neutral with respectful young kids, a home without very young children might be best as she is slow to warm up.
