Grace is a beautiful, sturdy, and incredibly smart 3-year-old girl! Her perky ears are like little bat wings, and she loves a good scratch. She has a lot of energy but naps most of the day during work hours. Grace was an excellent mom to her 10 puppies when she first arrived in rescue, and now it's her turn to find her forever home! She can sit, lie down, and is completely potty and crate trained. She loves her kennel and will often take naps in it voluntarily; it makes her feel safe, and she happily sleeps there every night.
Ideal Home
Grace would thrive in a home where her people understand her need for routine and stability. She notices changes in her environment and can experience separation anxiety when her foster parent travels for work. She is working on becoming more zen about seeing squirrels on walks and is very strong, so she will require your full attention on walks, especially initially. Grace has a difficult time when initially meeting men but has proven she can get past this after an initial introduction.
Ongoing Health
Grace is up to date on her vaccinations and has been spayed. She has some signs of trauma from her past and is working through them with the help of her fosters and rescue.
Training & Support
Grace is working on rolling over, shaking hands, "down," and becoming more zen about seeing squirrels on walks. She is very strong and will need continued leash training. She has a difficult time when initially meeting men but can get past this after an introduction.
