Meet Aries! This sweet boy is the most outgoing of his siblings and is always eager to greet everyone he meets. Aries has a very endearing demeanor; once he's had a chance to burn off some energy, all he wants is to snuggle up and receive attention and love. He's food-motivated, which makes training a breeze, and with consistent guidance, he'll undoubtedly blossom into the very best version of himself.
Ideal Home
Aries would thrive in a home that can provide consistent training and opportunities for him to socialize. He does well with other dogs and doesn't mind sharing his space with cats, though introductions should be supervised initially. He absolutely adores children, having previously been fostered with kids aged 2-3 and 5-9.
Ongoing Health
Aries came to us as one of nine puppies in rough shape, being the thinnest of the litter and experiencing vomiting after eating. He was on a special diet of small, frequent meals and weight gain supplements until he was strong enough to transition to regular feedings. He has since made a full recovery and is now healthy, plump, and well cared for. His adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, rabies vaccine, distemper vaccines, deworming, and current flea medication.
Training & Support
Aries is crate-trained and walks well on a leash. He is still working on potty training and will go potty when led outside or in his designated kennel area. The main behavior we're working on with him is staying down when excited; he has a comical habit of jumping up like a kangaroo, and we're encouraging more polite manners! He responds well to consistent training, especially when food rewards are involved. We feed all our dogs in their crates or alone, as he's never eaten with other dogs since he was a very young puppy.
