Mazie

Mazie is a sweet girl who absolutely adores cuddles and quality time with her people. She is currently heartworm positive, and the shelter needs a foster or foster-to-adopt home where she can rest and begin her treatment. The shelter will cover all costs associated with her treatment and will be there to support you every step of the way. Unfortunately, the shelter environment is too loud and stressful for her to undergo treatment there, so she must find a quiet, calm home before treatment can begin. Every day that passes without treatment means more damage to her heart and organs from these parasites.

Ideal Home

Mazie gets along best with male dogs. She does pull on the leash, so a harness is recommended. Small children or older adults might find her pulling a bit much to handle.

Ongoing Health

Mazie is currently heartworm positive and requires a calm environment to undergo treatment. The shelter will cover all treatment costs.

Training & Support

Mazie is a quick learner and is eager to please! She would thrive in a home that can provide consistent training, a good routine, and enrichment activities to channel her intelligence.
