Bubba

Bubba is a handsome 4-year-old mixed breed with a heart of gold and a gentle, easy-going demeanor. He spent five months as a cherished member of the Powder Pals Dog Program at the Powder River Correctional Facility, where he learned valuable life skills. Bubba is house-trained, knows an impressive 15 commands, and walks beautifully on a leash, showcasing his intelligence and eagerness to please. While he enjoys walks and playtime, his greatest joy comes from simply relaxing with his human companion. He doesn't require a high-energy lifestyle, just a loving and committed forever home.

Ideal Home

Bubba is good with all people and most dogs, though he's not a fan of aggressive dogs. He thrives in a home where he has a constant companion, as he experiences separation anxiety when left alone. He can also be protective of his person and needs time and patience to decompress and build trust that he won't be left behind.

Ongoing Health

Bubba is microchipped, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and neutered. He is generally a healthy boy.

Training & Support

Bubba has been trained using positive reward methods, and this is the only approach that should be used to maintain his happy disposition and trust in humans. Force or punishment will negatively impact him.
