Marigold

Marigold is a delightfully conversational girl who loves to talk when she's getting attention. Affection from people is her favorite thing! She's also been great with the other dog in her foster home, showing a very submissive nature and even rolling over to show her belly. She may grow more confident over time. Marigold has also done well with a cat, even attempting to engage him in conversation. She does, however, have a prey drive and will chase rabbits and squirrels. House training is progressing well as her foster mom has learned her cues. Marigold enjoys sleeping in bed with her human and the other animals. She's been crated and does reasonably well, though she will cry a bit. Once, when left out of her crate, she did tear up some paper, but it was a minor offense. Marigold has a moderate to low energy level, isn't overly motivated by toys or food, and while she enjoys being outside, she's always happy to come back inside to be with her human.

Ideal Home

Marigold would thrive in a calm home where she receives plenty of affection. She will chase small critters like rabbits and squirrels.

Ongoing Health

Marigold is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

House training is coming along well. She is mostly house-trained, but her cues are still being learned. She cries a bit when crated. She once tore up paper when left out of her crate.
