Arlo is a handsome boy with a gentle soul and a heart of gold! He's a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he'll be your best friend. Arlo loves a good belly rub and will lean into your touch with a happy sigh. He's still learning to trust, but with patience and love, he'll blossom into the most devoted companion.
Ideal Home
A quiet, loving home where he can feel safe and secure would be perfect for Arlo. He'd do best with someone who understands that he may need a little time to adjust and show his true colors.
Ongoing Health
Arlo will be up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and heartworm negative before adoption (age appropriate). He will also receive monthly flea/tick preventative, monthly heartworm preventative (age appropriate), and regular deworming. Arlo will be microchipped.
Training & Support
Arlo is a smart boy and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training. Patience and consistency will be key to helping him build confidence.

- A home visit and vet reference are required.
- If you live in a rental property, a copy of your lease stating pets are allowed will be needed.
- If you have had a pet in the last two years, please provide the previous vet as your reference. Include the name the reference is under if it's not the applicant.
- If you have never owned a pet or it's been over two years, a personal reference who can attest to your ability to care for a pet will be needed instead of a vet reference.
Transportation
Arlo is located at our rescue center at 34 County Road 2266, Brundidge, AL 36010. We are not open to the public without an appointment. Transport may be available to approved adopters.
