Bubba is an 8-year-old sweetheart with the gentlest soul. He's the definition of a soul dog, and the bond you'll build with him is truly special. His favorite place in the world is curled up on your chest, snuggled in close for hours. Bubba is calm, low-energy, and perfectly content relaxing at home with his people. He's easygoing, affectionate, and happiest when he's soaking up love and sunshine. He enjoys an occasional zoomie in the backyard about once a month. Don't let his chill personality fool you – Bubba gets so excited when the leash comes out! He walks beautifully and does great passing other dogs on walks. He has been cat and dog tested and passed! He is a bit timid/unsure with dominant dogs, but we think he would do great living with a cat!

Training & Support
Bubba does not jump and gives kisses very sparingly, which makes them extra special. He thinks he's a weighted blanket and loves laying his whole body on your chest. He's a professional-level snuggler who loves sunbathing, burrowing under blankets, and rides well in the car. He never misses a meal and still gets the occasional zoomies! We assess every animal with trainers on staff and modify behavior as needed, creating individualized plans to help prepare dogs for their future families, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

- The adoption fee is $1000 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high-quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship).

Transportation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
