Meet Wimby - your new best friend!

Wimby is a 4-year-old suspected Pyr/Lab mix who is 100% good boy. He's a wonderful blend of well-behaved, calm, and playful. He currently lives with younger children and does well with them, enjoying playful games of chase over stuffed animals before settling down for a nap. However, he has also formed a special bond with his foster grandparents during their daily walks, suggesting he might also enjoy a more relaxed home environment. Wimby absolutely loves spending time outdoors, soaking up the sun and observing the world, so a fenced yard would be ideal for his forever home. He seems to get along well with dogs of all sizes and would also be content as an only dog. He can be a little intimidated by cats, so a feline-free home would likely be best. Wimby views his crate as a safe space and is comfortable being crated when his foster family is away. He is also house-trained and walks nicely on a leash, enjoying his daily strolls.

Ideal Home

Wimby would love a home with a fenced yard where he can relax and enjoy the outdoors. He would also be fine as an only dog or with dogs of any size, but would do best in a home without cats.

Ongoing Health

Wimby sheds quite a bit, so regular grooming appointments will be important. He is also terrified of the vacuum and loud noises in general. His foster mom has been placing him outside when vacuuming.

Training & Support

Wimby is house-trained and walks well on a leash. He is also comfortable in his crate, which he views as a safe space.
