Meet Violet!

Violet is a 1.5-year-old sweet and loyal girl who was found roaming the streets of Houston, TX. Despite her difficult past, she remains trusting and has shone at adoption events, meeting new people and dogs with enthusiasm. Violet is a world-class cuddler who will army crawl to reach you for affection, and her tongue is always out in a happy grin. She is deeply loyal and loves to play tug-of-war, especially with the hose!

Ideal Home

Violet would thrive in a home with an adopter willing to continue her training to build her confidence. She also greatly benefits from the companionship of another dog, as she gains confidence from canine friends. While kid-friendly, she can be a little scared of loud little ones.

Violet is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Violet is fully potty trained and walks great on a leash. She knows "sit" and is making huge strides with place and crate training. She is terrified of squeaky toys, so it's best to avoid those.
