Micah is a 4-year-old, 50 lb Husky with the soul of an old friend and a heart full of calm. He's a gentle giant with a Husky smile and a sweet, loyal personality. While he can be a little reserved at first, Micah quickly warms up and loves nothing more than being near his people. He's slightly submissive, making him incredibly endearing and easy to be around. Micah truly thrives in a home with a canine buddy to play with, and he's great with other dogs. He's fully potty trained, respectful in the house, and while he tolerates his crate, he much prefers to be by your side. He's easy on leash, takes correction well, and is eager to please, making him a low-maintenance companion with a kind heart.
Ideal Home
Micah would do well in a home with a yard or an apartment with regular outdoor time. He would benefit from a home with another dog to play with. While he hasn't had direct experience with cats or small children, his gentle demeanor suggests he could adapt well in a calm, predictable environment. We recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.

Micah is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to his forever home by our rescue. We have transports departing each week!
