MILO

Milo is a handsome 1-year-old Husky mix who weighed in at nearly 70 lbs at intake! He arrived as a stray from Chickaloon and, thankfully, was microchipped. His microchip led us to his previous owner who had rehomed him due to a son's allergies, but they were unable to contact the new family. Now, Milo is searching for an active home that can match his energy! He absolutely loves being outdoors, and his favorite activity is playing in the water. Milo is described as a big sweetheart, though he may get so excited that he sometimes has little "piddles." He enjoys playing and reportedly did well with children. He also loves to play with other dogs and cats, but his play can be quite rough with felines, so this is something to consider if you have kitties at home.

Ideal Home

Milo would thrive in an active home ready for his energetic nature. He loves water and being outdoors. While he was rehomed due to a child's allergies in his previous home, he reportedly did well with the children there. He can play rough with cats, so homes with cats should have felines who can handle a boisterous playmate.

Ongoing Health

Milo is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Milo has learned to redirect his chewing from furniture to his toys, but it's important to ensure he has plenty of appropriate chew toys available to keep him occupied. He has a history of digging and can play roughly. While he is housebroken, he is also kennel trained, but he dislikes his kennel and will vocalize his displeasure. He has been known to get into the trash if given the opportunity.
