Meet Rex, a four-year-old silver-gray pitty or staffy mix with the softest face, sweetest eyes, and an adorable white chest spot that makes him look like he's wearing a tiny tuxedo! Rex is a big, gentle companion who truly goes with the flow of the day. He approaches life with an easy, joyful attitude and is a pleasure to have around. He's a big, soft house hippo who knows how to chill and loves to entertain himself with toys, sniff around, or simply relax nearby. Rex has mastered the art of being close without being demanding.
Ideal Home
Rex would love a home where he can relax and enjoy his days. He is apartment-friendly and does wonderfully with small children, being extremely gentle with them. He also gets along well with other dogs of all sizes and would do well as a solo dog or with a medium to low-energy, respectful canine companion. Further cat testing can be arranged if he seems like a good fit for your home.
Ongoing Health
Rex is fully vetted, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and he has been spayed/neutered.
Training & Support
Rex is fully potty trained and crate trained. He enjoys his daily leash walks and walks nicely, though he's happy to pause for a good sniff. He loves toys, especially Kongs and a good game of tug-of-war. He is treat-motivated, eager to please, and a genuinely good dog.

Transporation
Rex is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. A $87 surcharge for transportation applies. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
