Hi there! I'm Athena, a 47-pound spayed female Plott Hound mix with a heart full of gentle love. I was born around November 6, 2022, and I came to the shelter on May 24, 2024, as a surrender.

I'm a bit timid and shy when I first meet new people, but don't worry! A few tasty treats and a little time to sniff around will have me warming up to you in no time. I absolutely love spending time outdoors, whether it's soaking up the sun or exploring with my nose to the ground. If you're looking for an adventure buddy for quiet outings, I'm your girl! Or, if you're planning a cozy day in, I'd be thrilled to snuggle up on the couch with you.

Ideal Home

My shelter family believes I would thrive in a home without other pets or children, as they can make me a bit nervous. I'm really hoping for a family who will be patient and help me build confidence so I can truly blossom.
