Tyson

Tyson is a resilient soul with a spirit that shines brighter than his past. He endured unimaginable cruelty, abandoned and left for dead, but his will to live never faltered. Rescuers found him severely malnourished with a host of health issues, but his capacity for joy and love was undeniable. Today, Tyson is a healthy, happy dog who relishes every kind touch and the freedom to run. He's a quick learner, mastering leash walking with a head halter, sitting, staying, and interacting positively with other dogs, especially females. He's crate-trained, shows no food aggression, and thrives in a structured and loving environment. Tyson has a lot of energy he's eager to share through play, walks, and companionship.

Ideal Home

An active home with regular walks or runs, or a spacious yard would be ideal for Tyson. He'd also do well with older children or teenagers who can continue to build his trust and help him explore the world.

Ongoing Health

Tyson has overcome significant health challenges, including skin conditions, eye issues, a weakened immune system, and heartworms. He is now healthy and healed, but his past experiences have shaped him.

Training & Support

Tyson is crate-trained and has learned to walk calmly on a leash with a head halter. He can sit and stay, and he enjoys playing with other dogs, particularly females. He shows no food aggression and benefits from a structured and compassionate environment.
