Meet Benedict, or Benny as we call him! This gentle soul is all about quiet affection and stealing hearts with his soulful eyes and soft, floppy ears. Benny is a few months old and already shows all the signs of being an incredibly loyal and loving companion. He's on the larger side for his litter but we expect him to grow into a perfect mid-size dog, around 50 lbs, ready for adventure or cozy couch cuddles.
Benny has a tender, observant nature and forms deep bonds with his people. He might take a moment to warm up in new situations, but once he feels safe, his affectionate and goofy side shines through. He loves playing with his siblings and other dogs, but he's also perfectly content just being near his humans, soaking up love and reassurance. He has an incredibly special and emotionally intuitive spirit.
Benny loves dogs, kids, and people, inheriting his mama's wonderful temperament. He thrives on companionship and truly enjoys being part of the pack. While he hasn't met any cats yet, his calm and easygoing nature suggests he'd likely adjust well with proper introductions.
Ideal Home
A home that understands his need to warm up in new situations, but is ready for his affectionate and goofy side to shine through. He thrives in a loving environment and enjoys being part of a family pack.
Ongoing Health
Benny was born with entropion, a common genetic condition where the lower eyelids roll inward, causing eyelashes to rub against the eye. He underwent corrective surgery early on and is healing beautifully. This procedure will not impact his quality of life or day-to-day activities. He is expected to live a completely normal and happy life. Benny comes fully vetted, including 3 DHPP vaccines, Bordetella, Rabies, Canine Influenza, deworming, microchipping, and is on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
Training & Support
Benny is crate trained, doing well with potty training, and learning basic commands. He's smart, eager to please, and responds wonderfully to kindness and consistency.
