This joyful, almost four-year-old Boxer/American Pitbull Terrier mix is a celebration on four legs with her sleek black coat and bright white chest patch. Tula is a medium-sized girl, weighing about 50 pounds and brimming with an athletic bounce. Her greetings are unforgettable, featuring full-body tail wags, happy wiggles, and an enthusiastic "arrrooooo" that clearly says how thrilled she is to see you!
Playtime is high on Tula's list, especially a good game of fetch followed by snuggles. After a day of walks, play, and learning, she happily curls up beside her favorite human, sometimes sharing soft snores that are like the sweetest white noise.
Tula is smart, attentive, and eager to learn with positive reinforcement. She already knows sit, down, leave it, and focus, and has excellent recall, making training sessions fun and rewarding. Her "velcro" affection means she loves staying close, whether on a car ride, an adventure, or just relaxing at home.
Tula is friendly with strangers, wonderful with children, and enjoys the company of other dogs. She recently did very well with multiple dogs and kittens during a stay with an experienced sitter. Tula appears interested in being friends with cats and may simply lack feline social skills rather than any desire to harm them.
