This beautiful, best boy is quite literally like a teddy bear come to life. We think cuddling and snuggling might be his absolute favorite thing on the planet. He wants to be close to his people, curled up beside them, resting his head on a lap, or tucked into blankets like the world's most oversized stuffie toy. And given where Teddy came from, that makes him even more remarkable. Teddy is a survivor of Skid Row. He has seen hardship that most dogs should never have to experience. Yet somehow, despite everything he's been through, he has chosen love. Teddy is the best boy. This sparkly green-eyed adventure buddy has soft taupe fur, one perfectly floppy ear, one permanently perked ear, and enough personality to fill an entire room. His eyes stop people in their tracks. His face is endlessly expressive, like he's constantly trying to understand every word you're saying. He's wiggly in the best possible way. The kind of full-body happiness where his entire back half starts moving the moment he sees someone he loves. Teddy loves car rides, sunshine naps, exploring new places, being your loyal little shadow, and playing ball. He carries toys and tennis balls around like they are his tiny emotional-support children. Seriously, we are fully convinced Teddy believes every tennis ball is his baby. He carries them around so gently and proudly, showing them off as if he's introducing you to his children. It's almost unbearably cute. And when bedtime comes? This 55-pound boy somehow folds himself into the tiniest little donut imaginable. One minute, he's a solid medium-sized dog. The next, he's a curled-up marble tucked into a blanket. It genuinely makes no sense. Teddy is very well-trained, eager to please, and deeply connected to his people. He's affectionate, goofy, emotionally tuned-in, and always ready for the next adventure or the next cuddle session.
Ideal Home
Because he occasionally forgets that he's not actually lap-dog-sized, we'd recommend a home with older children who understand respectful boundaries and play.
