Shadow Mini Hershey Kisses

Meet Shadow! This sweet 1-year-old girl is a 45-pound bundle of black lab and pit bull mix cuteness! Shadow is an affectionate and playful pup who is eager to learn and become your best friend. She immediately leans in for love, showering her favorite people with tail wags and puppy kisses. Shadow enjoys a good game of tug-of-war with her toys and can entertain herself, but she also loves a good cuddle session and favors booty scratches. She is potty trained and walks well on a leash for 10-20 minutes, and she already knows simple commands like "sit" – she's very treat motivated, which will make training a joy!

Ideal Home

Shadow would thrive in a home with a yard where she can play, but she could also do well in an apartment with proper exercise and enrichment. She would love to have another dog to play with, preferably a calm, medium-energy companion, as she can be a bit overwhelmed by super high-energy pups. A home without cats would be best, as she can get a little too playful. Because Shadow is still a bouncy and playful puppy, older children would be the best fit for her.

Shadow is a healthy, vetted pup, and her adoption fee includes all necessary medical care.

Training & Support

Shadow is working on her leash manners, which is perfectly normal for her age, and she'll improve with time and consistency. She is very treat-motivated, which will make training fun and rewarding.

Transporation

Shadow is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Adopters in the Greater Houston area must pick up their pet. A $87 surcharge applies due to transportation costs.
