Benson

Meet Benson, a sweet and quiet boy with a heart of gold! Benson was found as a stray in Texas after being hit by a car. He underwent a leg amputation and has since learned that humans can bring good things, like treats and a cool place to rest. He's a gentle soul who gets along well with other dogs and is completely unfazed by cats. Benson is potty trained, enjoys car rides, and has been a model patient during vet visits.

Ideal Home

Benson would thrive in a calm, low-traffic home. He'd do best with children over 12 who understand how to give dogs their space. He's not a fan of loud or boisterous environments and would be overwhelmed by very young or highly energetic children. A home with minimal stairs is preferred to help with his comfort as a tripod.

Ongoing Health

Benson is a tripod due to a past leg amputation. He navigates his world with ease and is a lower-energy guy who enjoys a slower pace of life.

Training & Support

Benson is a great observer and companion, but he's not a dog who needs to be attached to your hip. He's happiest simply being in the same room, keeping an eye on things while enjoying your company without demanding constant attention. He's looking for peace and a soft place to sleep.
