Lucinda

Meet Lucinda! This lovely two-year-old, 65-pound Great Pyrenees/Lab mix is a true gem with excellent manners, a soft heart, and a touch of theatrical flair. She's great with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a wonderful addition to many homes. Lucinda settles in quickly and then politely, but persistently, becomes a cherished part of your daily life.

Now, about that flair! Lucinda has opinions, especially when it comes to petting. If you're showering her with affection, it's wonderful. If you stop, she believes this is a mistake and will let you know with expressive, but not aggressive, protests. Think dramatic prairie dog energy, a soulful look, or a small speech about how she has been wronged.

She also comes with standard Pyrenees traits: an independent streak, a belief that she has a job to do (even if it's yet to be determined), and a strong preference for a fenced yard where she can patrol, supervise, and keep an eye on anything she suspects might be up to no good.

There are no major issues with Lucinda. She's a solid, affectionate, slightly opinionated dog who will love her people deeply and expects a reasonable amount of petting in return.

Ideal Home

A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for Lucinda, allowing her to fulfill her patrolling duties.
