Minnie

Minnie is a 1-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as soft as her fur. She was found as a young puppy, wandering until she found a temporary home. While they meant well, Minnie's natural instincts as a Great Pyrenees began to surface as she grew, and her owners realized they couldn't provide the structure and supervision she needed. Minnie also had a litter of puppies, who have all been weaned and placed in loving homes. Now, Minnie is ready to find her own forever family who can give her the long-term commitment she deserves.

Minnie is house-trained and has shown she gets along well with other dogs and cats. She's described as socially appropriate, gentle, and easygoing with other animals. She can be a bit shy and timid at first, especially in new environments like the shelter, but with a little time and reassurance, her affectionate and loyal personality will shine through. She just needs a patient adopter who will let her warm up at her own pace.

Minnie would do best in a home that understands the needs of large guardian breeds, with secure containment and a commitment to providing her with both guidance and companionship.
