Hi there, I'm Pop! I'm a happy-go-lucky pup with incredibly soft fur, complete with adorable white markings on my nose. My fur is a bit thicker and fuller than your typical pittie, leading me to believe I might have some Border Collie in my lineage! I came to Wags with my brother and sister from New Mexico and I'm so excited to find my forever family.
I'm already potty-trained and will let you know when I need to go out by laying by the door. I'm also kennel-trained, but I much prefer to be out and about! While I don't cause any trouble when left alone, I really don't enjoy being confined. I absolutely love to snuggle, especially close to my foster mom at night – it keeps me warm!
I know commands like sit, stay, wait, and come, and I'm working on "down" and "off." Food is a huge motivator for me, especially peanut butter and yogurt! While I'm still learning to be gentle when taking treats, I'm making great progress with positive reinforcement.
I live with a wonderful 10-year-old foster sister and have met her friends. I can be a little shy with new people, especially children, and might bark initially, but I mean no harm and warm up quickly. A family with older, dog-savvy children would be ideal for me. I'm also unsure about cats, but I absolutely adore other dogs! I'm my slightly younger foster brother's emotional support dog and love to play with my foster siblings. Wrestling, zoomies, and tug-o-war are some of my favorite games with other dogs. I also love going for walks in the neighborhood.
I'm a smart, loving dog who wants to be friends with everyone. I dream of adventures and would make a fantastic hiking buddy or travel companion. Ultimately, I just want to be with my people, have a canine companion, and live the best life possible!
Ideal Home
