Hi there! My name is Rummy, and I'm a spirited 1.5-year-old, 11-pound bundle of Yorkshire Terrier joy! I love to treat every day like an exciting adventure, filled with chasing squirrels, playing keep-away, and greeting every new person I meet with enthusiasm. My mom loved me dearly, but realized I needed more attention and stimulation, so now I'm with a foster family, ready to find my forever home! I'm a champion napper, and I absolutely adore my special blankie, which I take with me everywhere – it's my best friend!

I'd thrive in a home that can keep up with my playful spirit and provide plenty of opportunities for adventure. Because I can get a bit possessive of my beloved blankie, I would do best in a home with older children or no children at all.

Training & Support

I'm a smart cookie and already know how to sit on command! I'm also getting the hang of the doggie door, though I still have the occasional accident as I master my house-training. I'm working on leash manners, as I tend to pull a bit. I also like to announce visitors with a bark, which I see as my helpful doorbell duty! The main thing we're working on is sharing, especially when it comes to my blankie.
