Chloe

Chloe is a sweet 10-year-old lady who, after being surrendered by her previous owner, is looking for a special kind of forever home. She's a bit of a gentle soul who takes her time warming up to new people, and we mean really takes her time. Our volunteers have learned to be incredibly patient with her, and it's paid off in leaps and bounds! She's blossomed with us, and now it's time for her to find a patient, understanding human mom who will give her the space and time she needs to feel safe and loved. Chloe bonds deeply with one person, and that's exactly what we're looking for again. She's great on a leash, but her new home will need a securely fenced yard so she can safely explore outdoors without a leash until she's comfortable. She's not a fan of being picked up, especially by strangers, so her transition will require careful, gentle introductions and close collaboration with us to ensure her success. Chloe had a dental cleaning in December 2024, so her smile is bright and her breath is fresh!

Ideal Home

Chloe needs a home with a securely fenced yard. She prefers to bond with one woman and will need a patient adopter who understands that she takes a long time to warm up to new people.

Chloe needs time and patience to bond with her new owner. She is not comfortable being picked up by people she doesn't know. We will work closely with her adopter to ensure a smooth transition.
