Rita is a 7-year-old, spayed female Staffordshire mix weighing 58 lbs. She's an absolute sweetheart, described as a sweet and affectionate cuddle bug with moderate energy. Rita enjoys a good play session but also loves to wind down and snuggle with her people. She's done well with medium to large-sized dogs she's met in playgroups and would be happy with or without canine companions. Rita's ideal day involves lots of attention, playtime with her toys and family, and car rides for adventures like getting a pup cup. She's already crate-trained, potty-trained, and leash-trained! Rita was found in an overcrowded shelter but remains loving and enamored with people. She's outgoing, can be a little shy at first, but quickly reveals her playful and silly side.

Ideal Home

Rita would love a home where she can get plenty of attention and cuddles. She has not had the chance to meet children or cats while in our care.
