Oscar

Oscar is an almost 2-year-old Border Collie mix with a gentle heart and a desire to learn. He spent the first part of his life in a large shelter, arriving as a shy puppy and only recently finding his way into a foster home. While initially very nervous around new people, Oscar has blossomed in his foster environment. He walks beautifully on a leash with his trusted humans and is unbothered by traffic noises. Once he feels comfortable, he's a very sweet companion who enjoys pets and offers happy tail wags. Oscar is kennel-trained and views his crate as a safe haven. He is also potty-trained and will happily relieve himself on walks.

Ideal Home

Oscar would thrive in a patient and quiet home where he has the time and space to warm up at his own pace. He absolutely adores other dogs and would benefit greatly from living with a confident canine companion who can show him the ropes and help him feel more secure.

Ongoing Health

Oscar is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Oscar is a very food-motivated boy, which will be a great asset in his continued training. He is kennel-trained and potty-trained.
